24 Seconds

The OFFENSIVE team have 24 seconds to score.

This time starts after the ball has been inbounded and an OFFENSIVE player has touched the ball.

The OFFENSIVE player has to have released the ball, taking a shot before the 24 seconds have elapsed. This could be at 23.9 seconds and the shot would still count if it went in.

If the ball didn’t go in, didn’t HIT the ring and was collected by the OFFENSIVE team, a turn-over would occur.

If the ball HIT the ring and was collected by the OFFENSIVE team, an extra 14 seconds would be given to take the shot.

If the ball was collected by the DEFENSIVE team, play carries on, 24 seconds start again.
