When in OFFENCE, you have 8 seconds to get the BALL over the half way line into the DEFENSIVE half. See the 8 second rule.
Once the BALL has established itself over the half way line, it CANNOT go back to the OFFENSIVE half.
If you have the BALL and touch the half way line moving from DEFENSIVE to OFFENSIVE half, this is an infringement of the rules. Called as Back Court.
